🏆 World Cup of Clubs Race — Top 4
The biggest result near the top came from Wolfsburg, who produced a thrilling 4–3 victory over Liverpool. Wolfsburg entered the match ranked 3rd and held on for a crucial three points. Liverpool, ranked 18th, continues to struggle outside the playoff places.
Atlético Cidón, ranked 2nd, could only manage a 3–3 draw against Estudiantes, dropping valuable points in the title race. The Bolivian side remains firmly in the top four, but the missed opportunity allows the teams around them to close the gap.

Barcelona, ranked 8th, suffered a disappointing 2–1 home defeat to Colo-Colo, ranked 20th. Barcelona's position inside the playoff zone is still strong, but dropping points to a team outside the top 16 could become costly later in the campaign.
Deportivo Municipal pulled off a valuable 2–1 victory over Aston Villa, with the Peruvian club ranked 19th and Aston Villa 7th. This is one of the round's biggest playoff-race upsets and gives Deportivo an important boost as they attempt to climb toward the top 16.
Silkeborg, ranked 15th, narrowly lost 3–2 to Pyramids FC, ranked 11th. Both teams remain within the playoff positions, but Pyramids strengthened their position while Silkeborg missed an opportunity to consolidate their place.
SC Freiburg, sitting 16th, drew 2–2 with Chievo, ranked 31st. Freiburg therefore remains right on the playoff cutoff, but the dropped points against one of the bottom teams will be frustrating.
🟠 Friendly Cup Battle — Positions 17–22
The Friendly Cup places are becoming extremely competitive.
Werder Bremen, ranked 17th, secured a huge 3–2 victory over Real Madrid, ranked 10th. That result could be one of the most important of the round for Werder's campaign. They remain just outside the playoff zone, but defeating a top-10 opponent provides momentum for their push toward 16th.
PSV, ranked 21st, defeated Banfield 2–1. The result keeps PSV firmly involved in the Friendly Cup race and gives them an opportunity to challenge the teams above them.
San Martín, ranked 22nd, suffered a 3–2 defeat against Comunicaciones, ranked 32nd. This is a painful result for San Martín because the team could have strengthened its grip on the final Friendly Cup position. Instead, Comunicaciones collected a major three points.
🟡 King's Cup Race — Positions 23–26
The King's Cup zone remains extremely tense.
Alianza Atlético, ranked 26th, defeated Sydney FC 4–2, picking up a much-needed victory. Alianza's poor recent form makes this result especially important as they try to escape the King's Cup places.
Meanwhile, Spartak Moscow, ranked 25th, lost 2–1 to Bayern Munich, ranked 6th. Facing one of the league's strongest sides was always going to be difficult, but Spartak now needs results quickly to avoid becoming trapped near the bottom.
PSV's 2–1 victory over Banfield also has major implications because Banfield entered the match in 23rd. The loss leaves Banfield vulnerable to falling deeper into the King's Cup battle.
🔴 Relegation Battle — Bottom 2
The relegation situation remains extremely dangerous for the teams at the bottom.
Kashima Antlers, ranked 27th, lost 3–2 to Broncos, ranked 29th. That is a damaging result because Kashima failed to take advantage of a direct battle involving teams in the lower part of the standings.
