Round 12 brought another 48 goals in 13 matches, averaging 3.69 goals per game. There were 12 decisive matches and just one draw, making it another highly competitive round.
With 12 of 50 rounds completed, only 38 rounds remain, so there is still a huge amount of football to be played.
🔥 Match of the Round: Hvidovre stun Celta Vigo

After Celta Vigo suffered a shock defeat to AC Horsens in Round 11, they responded perfectly.
The former league leaders went away to 16th-ranked Hvidovre and came away with a 3–2 victory.
It wasn't comfortable, but Celta got the three points they desperately needed to recover from their Round 11 setback.
Celta's back-to-back results tell an interesting story: they went from losing to 13th-ranked Horsens to immediately defeating 16th-ranked Hvidovre. Their position at the top remains under pressure, but they haven't allowed the Round 11 defeat to turn into a slump.
🟢 Horsens continue their incredible run

Horsens are becoming one of the stories of the season.
After beating 1st-ranked Celta Vigo in Round 11, Horsens followed it up by defeating 6th-ranked Rayo Vallecano.
That's six points against two teams in the promotion/playoff picture in two rounds.
For Rayo, this is a particularly damaging defeat. They entered the match in the playoff zone, while Horsens were only 10th.
💥 FC Helsingør hammer Villarreal

This is arguably the biggest shock of Round 12.
Villarreal were sitting 11th, while Helsingør were all the way down in 24th.
Yet Helsingør completely dominated the contest, scoring four goals in a stunning 4–1 victory.

Another major upset.
Benfica entered Round 12 in 4th place, comfortably inside the playoff positions. But 26th-ranked Gent produced an excellent home performance and won 2–1.
That's a huge opportunity missed for Benfica in the race for the top nine.

Another top-two team falls!
Augsburg entered the match in 2nd, but 21st-ranked Charleroi pulled off a 2–1 victory.

Super Nova responded well after losing to Rēzeknes in Round 11.
The 2–1 away victory is particularly useful because Super Nova began the round in 10th, the crucial Friendly Cup position.

⚔️ Monaco and Dinamo share the spoils

The only draw of the round came between two teams directly involved in the playoff race.
Monaco were 7th and Dinamo 9th, so both teams were already inside the top-nine qualification positions.

This was the match of the round for pure entertainment.

But from the standings perspective, both teams will probably be disappointed.

Villarreal (11th) suffered the round's second-biggest defeat, losing 4–1 to Helsingør.

Group B is becoming chaotic at the top.
Once Caldas lost their grip on the automatic-promotion race by falling to Cúcuta, while Augsburg, Benfica and Rayo also dropped points. Celta Vigo's victory therefore becomes particularly valuable.
But perhaps the biggest story is AC Horsens. A team sitting 10th has now defeated 1st and 6th in consecutive rounds. If they can maintain anything close to that form, the Friendly Cup position could quickly become a playoff position.
And with 38 rounds still remaining, there is plenty of time for the entire table to change.
