Unirea, sitting 16th, managed to take two points away from the league leaders' perfect result, although Violette will probably feel that dropping points against a team outside the playoff positions was an opportunity missed.
Africa Sports Beat Gloria Buzău
The final match saw FC Gloria Buzău fall 2–3 at home to Africa Sports FC.
Gloria entered the match 23rd, while Africa Sports were 26th, making this a battle between two teams near the bottom of the table. Africa Sports came away with an important three points and showed that the lower-ranked teams cannot be overlooked.
