🔥 Celta Vigo Stuns Villarreal
The biggest result among the early contenders came at the Estadio de la Cerámica, where Celta Vigo defeated Villarreal CF 3–2.

That top-nine cutoff is going to be crucial. Finishing 1st means automatic promotion, while finishing 2nd through 9th means another chance through the promotion playoffs. The difference between those positions could ultimately come down to just a handful of points.
Meanwhile, teams currently outside the playoff picture shouldn't panic. With 48 rounds still remaining, there is enormous time to recover. Even clubs sitting well outside the top nine can still make a serious push toward promotion.
