🏆 Cusco FC Hold First Place
Cusco FC (1st) defeated Liverpool (11th), 2–1 at Estadio Garcilaso.
It wasn't easy, but the league leaders got the job done. Cusco continue to set the pace in Group D and remain firmly on course for World Cup of Clubs qualification.
Liverpool remain comfortably inside the playoff field despite the defeat, but this was a missed opportunity to collect points against the league leaders.
🇩🇪 Wolfsburg Beat Chievo
Chievo (28th) lost 2–3 to Wolfsburg (5th).
Wolfsburg picked up another important three points and remain just outside the top four. With only four teams earning World Cup of Clubs qualification, the fifth-place side will be desperate to close that gap.
Chievo, meanwhile, remain deep in King's Cup territory and need a turnaround quickly.
💥 Bayern Munich Win Seven-Goal Thriller
One of the most entertaining matches of the round took place at Allianz Arena, where Bayern Munich (8th) defeated Kashima Antlers (27th), 4–3.
Bayern got the three points, but Kashima pushed them all the way. The victory strengthens Bayern's position inside the playoff places, while Kashima remain near the bottom of the standings.
For Bayern, the three points are what matter most as they continue their pursuit of the higher playoff positions.

Deportivo Municipal (21st) defeated Sydney FC (13th), 4–3.
This was a huge result for Municipal. They entered the match in Friendly Cup territory but managed to defeat a team firmly inside the playoff positions.
Sydney's defeat could have serious consequences in the crowded middle of the table, while Municipal now have momentum to climb toward the playoff cutoff.
🇳🇱 PSV Escape with a Draw
Lokomotiv Moscow (12th) and PSV (20th) drew 3–3.
The six-goal thriller produced a point apiece. Lokomotiv remain inside the playoff places, while PSV continue to occupy Friendly Cup territory.
For Lokomotiv, this feels like two points dropped against a lower-ranked opponent. PSV, however, will gladly take the point from a difficult away fixture.
