League III 2025 Group A Round 32 Recap

League III – Group A Round 32 Recap

Round 32 is in the books, and with just six matches left in the League III season, the race for promotion and playoff spots is heating up across Group A!

Deportivo Garcilaso (PER) remain the team to beat at the top of the table. Their dominant form continued this round, extending their lead with 67 points from 32 matches. With a strong +33 goal differential and excellent consistency both home and away, they’re now clear favorites for direct promotion to League II.

Just behind them, Vancouver Whitecaps FC (CND) are holding firm in 2nd with 62 points, still in a good position for the playoffs and within striking distance if Garcilaso slip up. Pirata FC (PER) are right behind with 59 points, continuing their strong run as well — a testament to Peru’s strength in this group.

The fight for the playoff positions (ranks 2–9) is fierce. Chaco Petrolero (BOL), Excelsior Rotterdam (NEA), Deportes Iquique (CHI), and Club Deportivo Palestino (CHI) are all within just a few points of each other, separated by fine margins. Expect these mid-table clashes to get intense as we near the final stretch.

Audax Italiano (CHI) and Toronto FC (CND) round out the current playoff zone, but their recent form shows some inconsistency — both will need to step it up to secure their postseason spots.

Meanwhile, Dynamo Moscow (RUS) sit 10th with 46 points, which would qualify them for the Friendly Cup, giving them something solid to aim for.

Just below, PFC CSKA Moscow (RUS) and FC Akron Tolyatti (RUS) hold the King’s Cup qualification spots at 11th and 12th respectively, meaning Russia could be well represented in the cup competitions this season.

The bottom half of the table remains competitive even without relegation pressure. Teams like Casa Sports (SEN), Atlético Ottawa (CND), and AZ Alkmaar (NEA) are looking to finish strong, while Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao (CHN) continue a difficult campaign at the bottom, still seeking their first win after 32 rounds.

With only six rounds remaining, everything is still to play for — from the championship crown to the last playoff and cup qualification spots. Round 33 promises even more drama in the race for League II promotion!
