League III – Group D Round 32 Recap
Round 32 of League III Group D has wrapped up, and the battle for promotion is heating up as teams push toward the final six rounds of the season.
🏆 Top of the Table
L.D.U. Quito (ECU) continue to dominate the league, sitting firmly in 1st place with 58 points. Their balanced attack and strong home record (12 wins at home) have kept them in the driver’s seat for automatic promotion to League II.
Bentin Tacna Heroica (PER) hold onto 2nd place with 57 points, just one point behind the leaders, while Mushuc Runa S.C. (ECU) trail closely in 3rd with 56. The top three are separated by only two points, making the title race wide open.
⚔️ Playoff Zone (Ranks 2–9)
The playoff race is just as fierce. From Bentin in 2nd down to Talleres de Córdoba (ARG) in 9th, every team is within striking distance. Club Destroyers (BOL), Always Ready (BOL), San Lorenzo (ARG), and Blooming (BOL) all remain steady inside the top nine, with Plaza Colonia (URU) also keeping their playoff hopes alive in 8th.
🏅 Friendly Cup Spot (Rank 10)
Independiente del Valle (ECU) currently occupy 10th place with 45 points, which would earn them a Friendly Cup berth if the season ended today. They’ll need to watch their form, though, as Deportivo Táchira (VEN) in 11th are just three points behind.
👑 King’s Cup Zone (Ranks 11–12)
Deportivo Táchira (VEN) and Zamora F.C. (VEN) are set to represent Venezuela in the King’s Cup if standings hold. Both have had inconsistent runs but still have time to climb higher.
⬇️ Lower Table
Metropolitanos, Defensa y Justicia, and Bucha have shown flashes of good play but remain mid-table. The bottom sides—Arameisk-Syrianska IF, Centro Atlético Fénix, AIK Fotboll, Aledals IK, and R.S.C. Anderlecht—continue to struggle. However, there’s no relegation this season, giving them a chance to rebuild and prepare for the next campaign.
With six rounds to go, the top 9 teams are fighting neck-and-neck for promotion and playoff qualification, while the middle of the table continues to shift every week. Expect a dramatic finish to Group D’s League III season!
