League III 2025 Group C Round 38 Recap

**🏆 League III — Group C

🔚 Final Round (Round 38) Recap**

The 38-round season has officially wrapped up, and Group C delivered a dramatic finish at both the top of the table and throughout the race for the playoff spots. With promotion, playoff berths, and cup placements on the line, Round 38 confirmed every team’s final destination for the postseason.

🥇 Promotion: Bayer 04 Leverkusen (GER)

Bayer 04 Leverkusen complete the season at the top of Group C with 76 points, earning automatic promotion to League II. Their balanced performance—strong at home and solid away— kept them narrowly ahead in an extremely tight title race.

🎟️ Playoff Qualification (2nd–9th)

These teams now enter the playoff bracket for one more chance at promotion:

  1. Limón F.C. (CTR) – 75 pts

  2. Red Star Belgrade (SER) – 75 pts

  3. C.D. Barrio México (CTR) – 68 pts

  4. FK Vojvodina (SER) – 62 pts

  5. Liga Deportiva Alajuelense (CTR) – 57 pts

  6. Lech Poznań (POL) – 56 pts

  7. Drogheda United F.C. (IRL) – 54 pts

  8. Shamrock Rovers F.C. (IRL) – 54 pts

This group gave us some of the closest margins in the entire league—only two points separated 6th from 9th!

🤝 Friendly Cup Qualification (10th Place)

FC Kramatorsk (UKR) take 10th with 53 points, securing their spot in the Friendly Cup. A steady season kept them clear of the tight mid-table pack.

👑 King’s Cup Qualification (11th–12th)

The final two cup qualifiers are:

  1. FC Arsenal Kyiv (UKR) – 51 pts

  2. Górnik Zabrze (POL) – 51 pts

Both clubs finish level on points, slipping into the King’s Cup slots in a competitive mid-table finish.

🔻 Bottom of the Table (No Relegation)

Although the lower half struggled, there is no relegation in League III, so all teams remain for next season:

13–20 include:
Cracovia, Hoffenheim, Bohemian FC, Bukovyna Chernivtsi, Eintracht Frankfurt, Partizan, Olympique de Marseille, and Olympique Lyonnais.

Lyon finish last with 10 points, but will regroup and rebuild for the next campaign without fear of dropping down.

📊 Final Thoughts

Group C delivered one of the tightest top-four battles, one of the most dramatic playoff scrambles, and a clear demonstration of the deep competitive balance in League III. With Bayer Leverkusen promoted and eight clubs heading into the playoffs, the excitement is far from over.

Ready for the postseason! 🎮🔥
