League III 2025 Group D Round 38 Recap

League III
Group D • FINAL ROUND (38) RECAP

The League III Group D season is officially closed — and what a dramatic ending it delivered. A title race that went down to the very last matchday, major reshuffling inside the Top 4, and late twists in the Friendly Cup and King’s Cup places.

Here is your full Round 38 recap:

🏆 Champions & Promotion to League II

🥇 Always Ready (BOL) – 68 pts (↑1)

Champions of Group D!
Always Ready finish the season at the top after a huge push in the final matches. Their last five (W W L W W) showed the composure needed to win a title. With 68 points and a strong +24 goal difference, they officially claim the only automatic promotion spot to League II.

A fantastic finish to a superb season.

🎟 Playoff Qualifiers (2nd–9th)

The chase for positions 2–9 was tight, but here is how the playoff field closed:

2. Bentín Tacna Heroica (PER) – 67 pts (↓1)

Miss the title by a single point but secure the No. 2 playoff seed. Their consistency kept them in the fight until the last whistle.

3. Club Destroyers (BOL) – 68 pts (+11 GD, ↓2)

End level on points with the champions, but GD sends them into 3rd place. Still one of the strongest sides entering the playoffs.

4. Blooming (BOL) – 67 pts

Finish only one point behind 1st, and just behind Bentín on goal difference. A fierce contender for the promotion playoff.

5. Mushuc Runa S.C. (ECU) – 65 pts

A late-season drop cost them the title race, but they remain solidly inside the top five. Dangerous in a knockout format.

6. L.D.U. Quito (ECU) – 64 pts

A strong home season (40 points) helped secure 6th place.

7. Independiente del Valle (ECU) – 59 pts

Climb one spot on the final day and comfortably qualify for the playoff stage.

8. San Lorenzo de Almagro (ARG) – 59 pts

Recover from their rough patch, ending with the same points as IDV but slightly weaker goal stats.

9. Club Plaza Colonia (URU) – 58 pts

Finish 9th to claim the final playoff berth. Consistent attack helped them hold off Talleres.

🎯 Friendly Cup Qualification

10. Talleres de Córdoba (ARG) – 54 pts

Hold onto 10th place and secure the only Friendly Cup ticket. Their last five were inconsistent, but their earlier season work kept them above the Venezuelan pair behind them.

👑 King’s Cup Qualifiers (11th–12th)

11. Deportivo Táchira (VEN) – 55 pts

A late push propels them to 11th. They comfortably book their King’s Cup place.

12. Zamora F.C. (VEN) – 54 pts

Finish tied on points with Talleres but edged out of 10th by goal difference. Still, they take the final King’s Cup spot.

⚔️ Mid-Table Final Standings

  1. Defensa y Justicia (ARG) – 50 pts

  2. Metropolitanos (VEN) – 49 pts

  3. Bucha (UKR) – 40 pts
