League III 2025 Group C Round 29 Recap

Group C • Round 29 Recap

The race in Group C continues to burn hot as we move into the final third of the season. With 38 total rounds, every match now feels like it carries double weight. Promotion, playoffs, and cup qualification spots shifted again, and pressure is beginning to show across the table.

Top of the Table

Bayer 04 Leverkusen (GER) remain on top with 60 points, built on a blazing attack that’s now at 101 goals scored. Their grip on the automatic promotion position is strong, but not yet sealed.

Just two points behind at 58, Limón F.C. (CTR) stay locked in the chase. Their home form is especially fierce, and they’ve shown they can match Leverkusen punch for punch when rhythm is right.

Red Star Belgrade (SER) sits in third with 54 points, still in striking distance and solidly inside the playoff zone.

Playoff Position Battle (Ranks 2–9)

This zone remains packed with contenders who are close enough to swap places week-to-week:

RankTeamPointsNotes
2Limón F.C.58Pushing for the top spot
3Red Star Belgrade54Solid form, playoff steady
4Barrio México52Big performances when it matters
5FK Vojvodina50Staying consistent
6Lech Poznań49Dangerous team in form swings
7Shamrock Rovers45Still within the playoff pack
8FC Arsenal Kyiv41Hanging in the bracket
9TSG Hoffenheim40Last playoff slot for now

The margins are tight. One win can launch a club several positions upward. One slip could knock a team straight into the Friendly Cup range.

Cup Qualifications

  • 10th Place: Liga Deportiva Alajuelense (CTR) with 38 points hold the current Friendly Cup seat.

  • 11th & 12th: KS Cracovia (POL) and Eintracht Frankfurt (GER) sit in King’s Cup qualification territory with 37 and 36 points respectively.

Both have shown flashes that suggest they could still push back into the playoff race.

Form Notes & Momentum

  • Leverkusen continue to rely on their massive goal-scoring output. Defense still leaves room for concern.

  • Barrio México and Vojvodina look confident and well-balanced at the moment.

  • Hoffenheim need wins soon or risk falling out of the playoff grid.

  • Shamrock Rovers picked up crucial points and stay afloat.

  • FC Arsenal Kyiv’s defense has been cracking under pressure; something must tighten soon.

Lower Table Outlook

No relegation means these clubs are playing for pride, future squad building, and perhaps the role of late-season spoilers:

  • Bohemian F.C., Partizan, Bukovyna Chernivtsi, and the Olympique clubs all sit low, but they still have plenty of opportunity to disrupt playoff races.

  • Olympique Lyonnais (FRA) remain bottom with 7 points, still searching for something to cling to in the final stretch.

The pressure only gets sharper from here. Clubs chasing promotion must hold their nerve. Clubs aiming for playoffs must gather every scrap of momentum. And everyone else? They’re about to become the storm systems that might decide the fate of others.

Round 30 is coming.
