League III – Group B Round 32 Recap
Round 32 is wrapped up in Group B, and with only six rounds left in the League III season, the battle for promotion and playoff positions is tighter than ever!
At the top, C.D. Santa Clara (POR) have reclaimed first place with 57 points, edging ahead of the competition thanks to consistent results and a solid +9 goal differential. Their recent form — four wins in their last five — puts them in the driver’s seat for direct promotion to League II.
Rayo Vallecano (SPA) trail closely in 2nd with 56 points, just one behind the leaders. The Spanish side remains a major contender, boasting one of the league’s best offensive records with 70 goals scored. Rayo’s next few matches could very well determine whether they’ll go straight up or have to battle through the playoffs.
FC Helsingør (DNK) and FC Gloria Buzău (ROU), both sitting on 55 points, are hot on their heels. Despite recent stumbles, they’re in strong positions for the promotion playoffs, while RC Celta de Vigo (SPA) in 5th with 54 points continue to impress with balanced performances at home and away.
Canadian (URU) and Villarreal CF (SPA) occupy 6th and 7th, maintaining their playoff hopes with steady form. Hvidovre IF (DNK) and Royal Charleroi S.C. (BEL) complete the playoff zone for now, but with just a few points separating several teams, nothing is guaranteed.
FC Porto (POR) currently hold 10th place with 47 points, positioning them for a Friendly Cup berth. They’ll be looking to solidify that spot or even push back into the playoff picture if results go their way.
Right behind, FC Dinamo București (ROU) and SK Super Nova (LVA) sit in 11th and 12th, holding the King’s Cup qualification spots. Both clubs have shown flashes of form lately, and they’ll aim to finish strong to secure those tournament places.
The bottom half of the table is more about pride than pressure — with no relegation in League III, sides like AFC Unirea Slobozia (ROU), AC Horsens (DNK), and Royal Antwerp F.C. (BEL) will look to end the campaign on a positive note. Meanwhile, Violette Athletic Club (HTI) remain at the bottom with 25 points, still battling hard despite a tough season.
With just six rounds to go, Group B remains one of the most competitive in League III — the difference between promotion glory and missing out entirely could come down to a single match!
