League III 2025 Group C Round 26 Recap






  • ping their playoff dreams alive but needing a strong run to challenge for the top spot.

  • Limón F.C. (CTR) sit in 3rd with 45 points, just a point behind Barrio México. Both Costa Rican clubs are in excellent playoff positions.

🔝 Playoff Zone (2nd–9th)

Positions 2 through 9 remain tightly packed, with just 10 points separating them:

  • Red Star Belgrade (SER) and FK Vojvodina (SER) are right behind with 45 and 44 points respectively, making Serbia well represented in the chase.

  • Lech Poznań (POL), Shamrock Rovers F.C. (IRL), and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (GER) all hover around the 38–43 point mark, keeping playoff hopes strong.

  • Liga Deportiva Alajuelense (CTR) round out the playoff zone in 9th with 36 points, barely clinging to the last postseason spot after another draw-filled run.

🏅 Cup Qualifications

  • FC Arsenal Kyiv (UKR) in 10th place (35 points) currently hold the Friendly Cup qualification spot, just one point shy of the playoff zone.

  • Drogheda United F.C. (IRL) and FC Kramatorsk (UKR) in 11th and 12th respectively would qualify for the King’s Cup if the season ended today.

⚠️ Mid-Table & Struggles

  • Eintracht Frankfurt (GER) and KS Cracovia (POL) are battling inconsistency in mid-table, sitting around the low 30s in points.

  • Bohemians F.C. (IRL) and Górnik Zabrze (POL) are hovering just above the lower tier but need wins soon to avoid falling into the danger zone.

🔻 Relegation Zone

The bottom four have struggled all season:

  • FSC Bukovyna Chernivtsi (UKR), FK Partizan (SER), Olympique de Marseille (FRA), and Olympique Lyonnais (FRA) all remain in serious trouble.

  • Lyon, in particular, sit last with just 7 points and a staggering -79 goal difference, looking all but doomed unless a miracle turnaround happens.


🔮 Looking Ahead

With 12 rounds to go, Bayer Leverkusen look unstoppable, but the battle from 2nd to 9th promises an intense finish for the final promotion playoff spots. Meanwhile, clubs in the lower half will be desperate to climb away from relegation danger and into one of the domestic cup qualifications.
