League III 2025 Group D Round 20 Recap

League III – Group D: Round 20 Recap

We’ve reached the halfway point of the season in Group D, and the battle for promotion to League II is heating up! The Bolivian teams continue to dominate, but several challengers are emerging from Ecuador, Argentina, and Uruguay as the playoff picture takes shape.

🥇 1. Blooming (BOL) – 36 pts

Blooming hold onto the top spot after another strong showing. Their attack has been among the league’s best, scoring 45 goals, while their solid home form keeps them just ahead of their rivals. They now have a clear shot at automatic promotion if they can maintain consistency in the second half of the campaign.

🥈 2. Always Ready (BOL) – 35 pts

Just one point behind the leaders, Always Ready remain in hot pursuit. Their +17 goal differential and steady defense make them one of the toughest teams to beat. Expect them to keep pushing Blooming for first place all season long.

🥉 3. Club Destroyers (BOL) – 34 pts

A fantastic run of form keeps the Bolivian trio atop the standings. Destroyers have found great balance between attack and defense, with a strong home record helping them stay comfortably in the playoff zone.

🔺 4. L.D.U. Quito (ECU) – 32 pts

The Ecuadorian powerhouse continues to stay competitive near the top. A few draws have slowed their rise, but they remain a major playoff contender with an eye on breaking into the top three.

🔻 5. San Lorenzo de Almagro (ARG) – 32 pts

San Lorenzo’s form has dipped slightly after a few tight losses, but they’re still well within reach of the leaders. Their attacking quality means they can turn things around quickly.

🔺 6. Independiente del Valle (ECU) – 31 pts

Independiente continue to rise, showing solid performances both home and away. Their disciplined play keeps them firmly in the playoff picture as they inch closer to the top five.

🔻 7. Mushuc Runa S.C. (ECU) – 31 pts

Despite a recent loss, Mushuc Runa remain dangerous. They’ve proven they can compete with any team in the group but must find more consistency away from home.

🔺 8. Club Plaza Colonia de Deportes (URU) – 31 pts

Plaza Colonia stay in the playoff zone after a key home win. Their defense has been solid, and they’ll be hoping to build momentum in the next few rounds.

🔻 9. Bucha (UKR) – 29 pts

The Ukrainian side close out the current playoff zone. While their defense has been shaky, their attack continues to produce enough to keep them competitive. They’ll need to tighten up at the back to avoid being overtaken.

⚠️ Chasing the Playoff Line

  • 10. Deportivo Táchira (VEN) – 28 pts: Improving results have them just outside the top nine. One more win could push them into the playoff picture.

  • 11. Bentín Tacna Heroica (PER) – 28 pts: Another team on the rise, unbeaten in several matches and showing real fight in mid-table.

Lower Table Notes

  • 14–20: Several teams are struggling to find consistency.

    • Defensa y Justicia (ARG) and Metropolitanos F.C. (VEN) remain stuck near the bottom despite showing flashes of quality.

    • Arameisk-Syrianska IF (SWE) continue to struggle heavily, sitting last with just 17 points and a –19 goal differential, needing a big turnaround to avoid finishing last.

🔮 Looking Ahead (Round 21)

The top nine remain tightly packed, with only seven points separating 1st from 9th — meaning the playoff race is wide open. Blooming’s narrow lead will be tested soon as Always Ready and Destroyers stay close behind. Expect fireworks in the next few rounds as the second half of the season begins!
