Premier World League – Group B Round 45 Recap
Round 45 of the Premier World League Group B brought more twists to an already thrilling season, with 17 rounds still to play and several teams still firmly in the hunt for the top spots.
Melgar (PER) remain the team to beat, sitting at the top with 106 points and a +86 goal difference after another strong week of results. Their combination of attacking power and defensive stability continues to separate them from the rest. Houston Dynamo (USA) are keeping the pressure on with 100 points, proving to be one of the most consistent American sides in the league. Gamba Osaka (JAP) hold third place with 98 points, making Japan’s presence known at the top of the standings.
Just below them, Boca Juniors (ARG) and Columbus Crew (USA) round out the top five, both maintaining solid form and showing they’re capable of challenging for a higher spot if the leaders stumble. Flamengo (BRA) and Internacional (BRA) are close behind, continuing to represent Brazil with competitive performances.
Cerro Porteño (PAR) climbed up into eighth, while Kawasaki Frontale (JAP) and Queretaro (MEX) complete the top ten after mixed results this round.
Mid-table remains tight, with Emelec (ECU), Union Huaral (PER), and Miami FC (USA) all trying to build momentum for a late-season push. Miami FC in particular showed signs of improvement, collecting points steadily in recent weeks.
At the bottom, Chivas (MEX) sit last with 41 points, struggling to find consistency, while Yokohama F. Marinos (JAP) and Zamalek SC (EGY) are also deep in trouble with defensive issues holding them back.
With 17 rounds remaining, the battle for the championship and survival is far from over. Every match is becoming critical as Group B moves into the decisive phase of the season.
