⚽ League III – Group B Round 25 Recap
Round 25 of League III Group B delivered more twists in a fiercely contested campaign. With only 13 rounds remaining, every result now carries huge implications for promotion, playoff spots, and cup qualification.
🏆 Promotion Race
FC Helsingør (DNK) continue to lead the group with 47 points, staying firmly on track for automatic promotion to League II. Their recent form has been solid, showing resilience even in tough away fixtures.
Right behind them, FC Gloria Buzău (ROU) hold 44 points, just three back, keeping the pressure on the Danish leaders. Meanwhile, Rayo Vallecano (SPA) and RC Celta de Vigo (SPA) sit close behind with 44 and 43 points respectively — both Spanish clubs showing strong attacking play and aiming to snatch one of those coveted top playoff positions.
⚔️ Playoff Zone (2nd–9th)
The playoff race is as tight as ever. C.D. Santa Clara (POR) and Villarreal CF (SPA) both remain in striking distance, sitting mid-40s in points and keeping pace with the leaders.
Hvidovre IF (DNK) and Royal Charleroi S.C. (BEL) are also staying competitive, while Canadian (URU) currently hold 9th place on 37 points, clinging to the final playoff berth after a mixed run of results.
With only a few points separating 2nd from 9th, the battle for the postseason is wide open heading into Round 26.
🏅 Cup Qualification
Just outside the playoff zone, FC Porto (POR) occupy 10th place with 35 points, earning them a provisional Friendly Cup berth — a small but valuable consolation for missing the playoffs.
In the King’s Cup qualification zone, AC Horsens (DNK) and AFC Unirea Slobozia (ROU) currently hold 11th and 12th respectively. Both sides will look to push for higher spots, though their inconsistent form has left them hovering around mid-table.
⚠️ Struggles Near the Bottom
The bottom half remains turbulent. Royal Antwerp F.C. (BEL) and SK Super Nova (LVA) are stuck in the lower mid-table, struggling for consistency. Dinamo București (ROU), S.L. Benfica (POR), and BFC Daugavpils (LVA) all face an uphill battle to climb out of the lower rungs.
Meanwhile, KAA Gent (BEL), Rēzeknes FA/BJSS (LVA), and Violette Athletic Club (HTI) continue to struggle — especially the Haitian side, who sit bottom of the table with just 13 points and a -51 goal differential, making survival look nearly impossible.
🔮 Looking Ahead
With 13 rounds remaining, FC Helsingør remain in control, but with six teams within five points of each other, the fight for playoff positioning promises plenty of drama. Every win, draw, and goal could make the difference between promotion dreams and mid-table mediocrity.
