League III 2025 Group B Round 24 Recap

League III – Group B Round 24 Recap

As Round 24 concludes, Group B of League III remains fiercely competitive with the top nine clubs still fighting for promotion or playoff glory. With 14 matches left, the margins are razor thin.

🔝 Top of the Table

FC Gloria Buzău (ROU) hold firm at the summit with 45 points, maintaining their push for automatic promotion despite some recent draws. Their solid defense and home consistency have been key in staying ahead of the pack.

Close behind, FC Helsingør (DNK) are in 2nd place on 44 points, just one point shy of the lead. Their strong away form keeps them within striking distance of top spot.

C.D. Santa Clara (POR) follow in 3rd place with 43 points, riding good momentum after a string of solid performances. RC Celta de Vigo (SPA) and Rayo Vallecano (SPA) complete the top five, both on 42 points, ensuring a tight playoff race among Iberian rivals.

⚔️ Playoff Zone

Villarreal CF (SPA), now 6th with 41 points, remain dangerous contenders after regaining form. Hvidovre IF (DNK) are 7th on 39 points, showing steady progress.

Royal Charleroi S.C. (BEL) sit 8th on 37 points, while FC Porto (POR) climb to 9th with 36 points, staying just inside the playoff zone thanks to an improved defensive record.

🏆 Cup Qualification Zone

Canadian (URU) hold 10th place with 33 points, currently set for Friendly Cup qualification. They’ll need consistency to challenge for the playoffs, but their recent results suggest improvement.

AC Horsens (DNK) and AFC Unirea Slobozia (ROU) occupy 11th and 12th with 32 and 31 points, respectively, putting them in King’s Cup contention. Both clubs will aim to break into the top 10 with a strong run.

⚠️ Mid-Lower Table

Further down, FC Dinamo București (ROU) and SK Super Nova (LVA) have shown mixed form around the mid-lower zone, while S.L. Benfica (POR) and Royal Antwerp F.C. (BEL) are struggling for rhythm, sitting in 15th and 16th.

BFC Daugavpils (LVA) and KAA Gent (BEL) have endured inconsistent campaigns, and both hover dangerously close to the drop in form.

At the bottom, Rēzeknes FA/BJSS (LVA) with 21 points and Violette Athletic Club (HTI) with 19 points remain deep in trouble. Violette’s defensive woes (90 goals conceded) make survival increasingly unlikely.

🔮 Looking Ahead

With 14 rounds left, FC Gloria Buzău are in control but far from safe. Only six points separate 1st from 6th, meaning every fixture could reshape the playoff picture. The coming rounds will test consistency and squad depth as clubs battle for promotion glory.
