League III 2025 Group B Round 15 Recap

⚽ Group B – Round 15 Recap | League III

Round 15 brought plenty of movement in the standings, with Spanish and Danish clubs continuing to lead the way while others slipped in form.

🔝 Top of the Table

  • RC Celta de Vigo (SPA) takes 1st place with 29 pts, riding strong recent form (LWWW). Their +12 GD shows a balanced attack and defense as they edge ahead.

  • Hvidovre IF (DNK) also sits on 29 pts, but trail Celta on GD. Despite a recent loss, they remain one of the most consistent teams in the group.

  • FC Gloria Buzău (ROU) is just one point behind with 28 pts, proving to be a tough contender with only 3 losses all season.

  • Villarreal CF (SPA) rounds out the top 4 with 28 pts, keeping the Spanish presence strong in the title race.

📈 European Chase

  • Rayo Vallecano (SPA) and FC Helsingør (DNK) both sit on 25 pts, still within striking distance of the leaders. Helsingør’s recent dip (LLWL) hurts their momentum, but they remain dangerous.

  • C.D. Santa Clara (POR) (24 pts) and Royal Charleroi S.C. (BEL) (23 pts) continue to hover near the top, though consistency is their biggest challenge.

  • AFC Unirea Slobozia (ROU) (23 pts) remains steady, but dropped points have cost them in the push for the top four.

⚖️ Midtable Mix

  • Royal Antwerp F.C. (BEL) sits midtable at 22 pts, in need of a winning streak to climb back up.

  • Canadian (URU) follows on 21 pts, steady but inconsistent with a record of 6-3-6.

  • FC Porto (POR) has 20 pts, clinging to midtable despite defensive struggles.

  • AC Horsens (DNK) (20 pts) and SK Super Nova (LVA) (18 pts) both hover near the middle, unable to build consistent momentum.

⬇️ Bottom Half

  • FC Dinamo București (ROU) (18 pts) and BFC Daugavpils (LVA) (17 pts) are struggling with losses stacking up.

  • S.L. Benfica (POR) has slumped to 13 pts, far below expectations, with poor away form (-8 GD).

  • Rēzeknes FA/BJSS (LVA) (12 pts) continues to struggle with both scoring and defending.

  • KAA Gent (BEL) (7 pts) is locked in the relegation battle with just two wins all season.

🚨 Rock Bottom

  • Violette Athletic Club (HTI) remains last with just 3 pts, suffering 13 losses in 15 matches. Their -32 GD is the worst in the group, and relegation looks almost certain.

🔮 Looking Ahead

Group B is a tight race at the top with four teams within one point of each other (29–28 pts). Spain and Denmark dominate the fight for promotion, while Romania’s Gloria Buzău stays in the mix. Meanwhile, the bottom half looks increasingly dire for Gent and Violette, who will need a miracle to survive.
