Round 30 of the Premier World League Season 2026 has concluded, and the Group A table is becoming increasingly interesting. With 62 games in the season, teams have now completed 30 rounds and have 32 matches remaining to determine who reaches the playoffs, World Cup of Clubs, Friendly Cup, and King's Cup.
Round 30 produced plenty of movement, including several important wins for teams fighting near the playoff line.
🌎 World Cup of Clubs race – Top 4
The biggest prize remains the top four positions, which qualify for the World Cup of Clubs.
1. Sport Boys
Sport Boys remain firmly on top of Group A after another outstanding performance. They defeated Atlético Grau 3–0, extending their dominance at the summit.
The leaders continue to set the pace, and with 32 rounds remaining, they are increasingly looking like the team everyone else has to catch.
2. Sporting Cristal
Sporting Cristal remain in 2nd place, despite suffering a 3–2 defeat against Deportivo Cali.
It was a major opportunity for Cali, who are themselves inside the playoff positions. Cristal will want to respond quickly to avoid allowing the chasing teams to close the gap.
3. Cienciano
Cienciano's remarkable run finally came to an end. After entering the match with a perfect recent record, they fell 3–1 to Cruz Azul.
Despite the defeat, Cienciano remain 3rd, firmly inside the World Cup of Clubs positions.
4. Valencia
Valencia held their place in 4th after beating São Paulo 2–1 away from home.
That victory is particularly valuable because Valencia are sitting directly on the final World Cup of Clubs qualifying position.

🔮 The road to Round 31
After 30 rounds, Sport Boys continue to control Group A, while Sporting Cristal, Cienciano and Valencia maintain their grip on the four coveted World Cup of Clubs positions.
Behind them, the playoff race is becoming fascinating. Universitario, Deportivo Cali, Aucas, Hong Kong FC and Cruz Azul are all well positioned, while teams such as Bolognesi, Alianza Lima, Atlético Grau, Vancouver Whitecaps and Santa Fe need to protect their playoff status.
The most dangerous zone may be the 16th–22nd battle. Santa Fe currently occupy the final playoff spot, but only six positions separate them from the Friendly Cup zone. One or two bad rounds could completely change the picture.
At the bottom, Danubio and Southam remain in the relegation spots, but with 32 games still to play, there is plenty of time for the lower-ranked teams to climb the standings.
Round 30 is in the books, but the Group A race is only getting more intense.
