🔥 Once Caldas Stay on Top

The most important result at the summit was Once Caldas' 3–2 victory over 9th-place Deportes Concepción.

Once Caldas entered the round as the league leaders and successfully defended their position. Their victory is particularly impressive because Concepción were themselves inside the play-off zone.

Meanwhile, Violette Athletic Club, who began the round in 1st according to the match listing, could only draw 2–2 with Monaco.

The results demonstrate just how tight the battle at the top of Group B is becoming.

📈 Play-Off Race

The battle for 2nd through 9th remains extremely competitive.

Several contenders picked up important points:

  • Celta de Vigo – 3–2 win
  • Rayo Vallecano – 4–1 win
  • Villarreal – 2–1 win
  • Daugavpils – 3–2 win
  • Benfica – 4–4 draw
  • Hidroivare – 4–4 draw
  • Deportes Concepción – 3–2 defeat

The biggest winner may be Rayo Vallecano, who strengthened their position with a convincing four-goal performance. Villarreal also took three points in an important upper-table battle.

For teams just outside the play-off zone, the message is clear: there is still plenty of opportunity to make a move.

🏆 Friendly Cup & King's Cup Battle

The middle of the standings remains extremely congested.

Monaco FC, who started the round in 10th, earned a valuable 2–2 draw against the league leaders. A result like that could prove important as they fight to stay within reach of the play-off positions.

Canadian, beginning 11th, also drew, while Africa Sports FC took three points and could potentially move toward the upper half.

With only a handful of points separating many of these teams, the 10th-place Friendly Cup position and 11th–12th King's Cup positions could change hands frequently over the coming rounds.
