Round 32 is in the books, meaning we are now past the halfway point of the 62-game Premier World League season. With 30 matches still remaining, every point is becoming increasingly important as teams battle for playoff places, continental qualification, cups, and survival.
Round 32 delivered plenty of goals, including a massive 6–0 demolition, several high-scoring victories, and some important results involving teams around the playoff and cup positions.
🔥 Sport Boys Put on a Six-Star Performance
The biggest result of the round came from Sport Boys (1), who absolutely destroyed Santa Fe (18), winning 6–0.
Sport Boys continue to look like one of the teams setting the pace at the very top of the table. Sitting in 1st place, they are firmly inside the World Cup of Clubs qualification zone, which is reserved for the top four.
For Santa Fe, however, the result is a painful one. Ranked 18th, they remain outside the 16-team playoff zone and are currently sitting in the Friendly Cup positions (17–22).
Sport Boys 6–0 Santa Fe
🇪🇸 Valencia Crush Cruz Azul
Valencia (3) produced another statement performance, traveling to face Cruz Azul (10) and coming away with an impressive 4–1 victory.
Valencia are firmly entrenched in the top-four World Cup of Clubs positions, while Cruz Azul remain inside the playoff picture despite the defeat.
A four-goal performance against a team ranked 10th is a huge boost for Valencia's goal difference and championship credentials.
Cruz Azul 1–4 Valencia
🇵🇪 Cienciano Makes a Statement
Another top-four team, Cienciano (4), had an excellent afternoon against Chankas CYC (9).
Cienciano dominated the contest and won 3–0, picking up three valuable points against a team that was itself sitting comfortably inside the playoff positions.
The result strengthens Cienciano's position in the World Cup of Clubs zone, while Chankas will need to regroup quickly to protect their playoff spot.
Chankas CYC 0–3 Cienciano
⚔️ Arsenal Shock Chelsea in English Clash
One of the most interesting results came from England, where Arsenal (22) defeated Chelsea (24) 3–2.
This was particularly important because both clubs entered the match in the lower part of the table.
Arsenal's victory keeps them in the Friendly Cup zone (17–22), while Chelsea remain in the King's Cup range (23–26) according to the league's qualification structure.
With 30 games still to play, Chelsea are certainly not out of the running for a playoff push—but they need results like this to start going their way.
Arsenal 3–2 Chelsea
🇧🇷 São Paulo Wins a Wild One Against Manchester United
São Paulo (25) and Manchester United (11) produced one of the most entertaining matches of Round 32.
São Paulo exploded offensively, defeating United 5–3.
For São Paulo, this is a massive three points from a team currently sitting in the King's Cup zone. Manchester United, meanwhile, remain inside the top-16 playoff positions, but this was a costly defensive performance.
Eight goals were scored in this one!
São Paulo 5–3 Manchester United
😱 Sporting Cristal Held by Calgary
One of the biggest surprises of the round came from Calgary FC (28), who held Sporting Cristal (2) to a 3–3 draw.
Sporting Cristal entered the match sitting 2nd, so dropping two points against a team ranked 28th could prove extremely costly in the race for the top four.
Calgary will undoubtedly see this as a point gained, particularly against one of the league's elite teams.
Calgary FC 3–3 Sporting Cristal
🇵🇪 Alianza Lima Falls to Bolognesi
Bolognesi (12) picked up a valuable victory over Alianza Lima (13), winning 3–2.
It was a crucial battle between two teams occupying playoff positions. Bolognesi's victory gives them bragging rights as well as three points that could become very important when the playoff race tightens.
Alianza will be disappointed after scoring twice but failing to secure even a point.
Alianza Lima 2–3 Bolognesi
🇨🇴 Deportivo Cali Continues Strong Run
Deportivo Cali (6) defeated Universidad de Chile (23) 4–2 in another important result.
Cali remain firmly among the league's elite, sitting comfortably inside the playoff places and challenging near the top of the standings.
Universidad de Chile, meanwhile, entered the game in the King's Cup zone, and the defeat leaves them with plenty of work to do if they want to climb toward the playoffs.
Deportivo Cali 4–2 Universidad de Chile
🇳🇱 Feyenoord Rolls Past Hong Kong FC
Feyenoord (20) picked up an impressive 4–1 victory against Hong Kong FC (7).
This is an especially valuable result for Feyenoord because they are currently in the Friendly Cup positions and need victories against higher-ranked opponents if they want to make a serious push toward the top 16.
Hong Kong FC, despite the loss, remain in the playoff zone.
Feyenoord 4–1 Hong Kong FC
🇵🇪 César Vallejo Takes Down Real Racing
César Vallejo (17) earned a narrow but important 2–1 victory over Real Racing (19).
Both teams entered the match outside the top 16, making this a major battle in the Friendly Cup section of the table.
Vallejo's three points could help them close the gap to the playoff places, while Real Racing missed an opportunity to make progress.
