Round 37 brought plenty of drama in Group B as the battle for the top spots and survival at the bottom intensified.

At the summit, Melgar (PER) continue to shine, extending their lead with 76 points after another strong showing. Just behind them, Gamba Osaka (JPN) also sit on 76 points, but trail on goal difference after a narrow win. Houston Dynamo (USA) remain in the chase on 74 points, though they slipped after a tough loss.

Boca Juniors (ARG) and Flamengo (BRA) are keeping themselves in the mix for a top-four finish, sitting on 72 and 70 points respectively. Meanwhile, Columbus Crew (USA) stumbled slightly, but still hold onto 6th with 65 points.

The mid-table fight is just as fierce. Clubs like River Plate (ARG), Cerro Porteño (PAR), and Emelec (ECU) continue to jockey for positioning, with only a handful of points separating them.

At the lower end of the table, the relegation zone is tightening. Inter Miami (USA) remain anchored at the bottom with just 26 points and a shocking -94 goal difference. Miami FC (USA) aren’t far ahead, stuck on 29 points after another defeat. Sociedade (BRA) and Chivas (MEX) also linger dangerously close, struggling to find form when it matters most.
