League III Group D Round 12 Recap

Here’s the full recap for Group D – Round 12 of League III play:

🔹 Group D – Round 12 Recap

Always Ready (BOL) continue to set the pace at the top, sitting in 1st place with 22 points after 12 matches. Despite dropping points recently, their consistency at home (6 wins, 0 losses) keeps them strong title contenders.

Club Plaza Colonia de Deportes (URU) are right behind in 2nd place on 21 points, tied with Blooming (BOL), but their slightly better goal difference edges them ahead. Blooming’s form has dipped with just 1 win in the last 5, leaving them vulnerable.

Club Destroyers (BOL) remain in the mix on 21 points as well, showing how tight the race at the top has become. The Bolivian clubs are dominating the standings, with three in the top four.

The Argentine side Talleres de Córdoba climbed to 5th place (20 points), recovering momentum with steady form, while Mushuc Runa S.C. (ECU) also sit level with them at 20 points, though a rough run of 3 straight losses has hurt their chase.

L.D.U. Quito (ECU) and Bucha (UKR) round out the top eight, each on 20 points as well. Group D is incredibly congested, with just 2 points separating 1st from 8th after Round 12.

In the mid-table, Independiente del Valle (ECU), Deportivo Táchira (VEN), and Metropolitanos F.C. (VEN) are locked on 18 points. All three are within striking distance of the leaders if they can string wins together.

Further down, San Lorenzo (ARG) and Defensa y Justicia (ARG) both sit on 18 points as well, but a poor goal difference keeps them hovering outside the top half.

The struggles are evident for the bottom clubs:

  • Zamora F.C. (VEN) have slipped to 15 points, losing crucial ground.

  • Bentín Tacna Heroica (PER) and AIK (SWE) are at 14 and 13 points, unable to break into the competitive top half.

  • Centro Atlético Fénix (URU) have just 11 points and remain stuck in relegation danger.

  • Adelads IK (SWE) sit on 10 points, while R.S.C. Anderlecht (BEL) are on 9 points after a dismal run.

  • At the very bottom, Arameisk-Syrianska IF (SWE) continue to struggle with only 5 points, losing 4 of their last 5 and carrying the worst goal difference (-18).

🔹 Key Takeaways:

  • Tight race at the top – just 2 points separate 1st from 8th.

  • Bolivian dominance – Always Ready, Blooming, and Destroyers all sit in the top 4.

  • Ecuadorian clubs slipping – Mushuc Runa and LDU Quito have both hit poor form.

  • Bottom struggles – Arameisk-Syrianska and Anderlecht look destined for relegation if results don’t change soon.
