Premier World League Group C Round 37 Recap

Here’s the Group C Round 37 recap for the Premier World League:

🔹 Group C – Round 37 Recap

With just one round left, Group C is delivering a thrilling finish at both ends of the table.

At the top, Urawa Reds (JAP) hold strong in 1st with 82 points, despite a recent wobble. Bolívar (BOL) trail close behind with 79 points, while FC Tokyo (JAP) are right in the mix on 78 points after their latest win. Hamburger SV (GER) and Cerezo Osaka (JAP) complete the top five, both sitting on 75 points, setting up a nail-biting finale for Champions Playoff spots.

Just below, Newcastle United (UK) and Newell’s Old Boys (ARG) remain in striking distance with 71 and 66 points. Manchester City (UK) continue to chase but their inconsistent form has them stuck on 65 points, alongside Vegalta Sendai (JAP).

In the middle of the pack, teams like Crystal Palace (UK), Atlético Madrid (SPA), and Unión Española (CHI) are fighting for pride and positioning, sitting safely away from danger but not quite in contention for the top.

The relegation battle remains brutal. FC Edmonton (CND) sit bottom with 30 points, their survival hopes all but gone. LA Galaxy (USA) are only slightly better with 31 points after another poor outing. Zenit St. Petersburg (RUS) (34 pts) and Rosario (ARG) (36 pts) are hovering dangerously, while Ulsan Hyundai (KOR) and General Díaz (PAR) also remain in trouble. The margins are razor-thin, and the final round could decide everything.

⚡ Key Highlights:

  • Urawa Reds still lead the group, but only by 3 points over Bolívar.

  • Just 7 points separate 1st and 5th, leaving the title race wide open.

  • Manchester City and Vegalta Sendai stuck outside the top 6 after mixed results.

  • FC Edmonton & LA Galaxy anchored at the bottom, staring at relegation.

  • The drop zone fight could go down to the final whistle, with six clubs still at risk.
