League III Group B Round 4 Recap

Here’s the full Group B Round 4 recap of League III play!:

Group B – Round 4 Recap (League III)

  • Hvidovre IF (DNK) take control at the top with 10 points from 4 matches, still unbeaten and boasting a +7 goal difference. Their consistency home and away has made them the early pacesetters.

  • Villarreal CF (SPA) move up to 2nd with 9 points, showing strong form and only a single defeat so far.

  • RC Celta de Vigo (SPA) slip to 3rd, also on 9 points, but with a slightly weaker goal difference after suffering their first loss of the campaign.

  • SK Super Nova (LVA) and AFC Unirea Slobozia (ROU) are tied on 7 points, both looking competitive and in the hunt for the top four.

  • FC Porto (POR) sit in 6th place with 7 points as well, boosted by a solid home record but struggling slightly away.

The mid-table battle remains tight:

  • Royal Charleroi S.C. (BEL), FC Helsingør (DNK), and FC Gloria Buzău (ROU) all sit on 6 points, each showing glimpses of quality but still needing consistency to challenge higher.

  • BFC Daugavpils (LVA) round out the top 10 with 5 points and a positive goal difference.

In the lower half:

  • AC Horsens (DNK) and Rēzeknes FA/BJSS (LVA) are level on 5 points, keeping pace but dropping valuable points in key matches.

  • FC Dinamo București (ROU) sit on 4 points, still searching for rhythm.

  • KAA Gent (BEL) also have 4 points, undone by a -5 goal difference despite their attacking efforts.

  • Rayo Vallecano (SPA) are struggling with just 4 points as well, managing only one win.

At the bottom:

  • Violette Athletic Club (HTI) and C.D. Santa Clara (POR) sit on 3 points each, both losing ground with defensive lapses.

  • S.L. Benfica (POR), surprisingly, are in 18th with only 3 points and a -6 goal difference, far below expectations.

  • Royal Antwerp F.C. (BEL) and Canadian (URU) are joint last with just 1 point each, already looking in danger. Canadian, in particular, have a dreadful -9 goal difference, conceding heavily across four matches.
