Here’s the recap for Group D – Round 9 of League III play!
🔹 Group D Round 9 Recap – League III
Club Plaza Colonia (URU) move into 1st place with 18 points, edging out Always Ready on goal difference. They’ve stayed consistent with only one loss in nine games and boast a solid +6 goal difference.
Always Ready (BOL) drop into 2nd place despite also sitting on 18 points. Their scoring power (+11 GD) remains strong, but recent away form has cost them points.
L.D.U. Quito (ECU) climb into 3rd with 17 points, showing balance in attack and defense (+5 GD). Their away strength (11 goals scored in 4 matches) keeps them dangerous.
Mushuc Runa S.C. (ECU) also sit on 17 points, but a -1 GD exposes some defensive fragility.
Club Destroyers (BOL) round out the top five with 16 points, unbeaten in their last five matches. Their home form has been outstanding with four wins in five.
In the chasing pack, Talleres de Córdoba (ARG) and Independiente del Valle (ECU) both sit on 15 points. Talleres rely on home strength, while IDV have been more balanced across fixtures.
Bucha (UKR) continue to impress at mid-table with 14 points, proving difficult to beat both home and away.
Blooming (BOL) slipped to 9th (13 pts) after three straight defeats, undoing their earlier momentum.
Further down, San Lorenzo de Almagro (ARG) and Bentin Tacna Heroica (PER) are locked on 12 points each, sitting mid-table but with poor goal differences.
Deportivo Táchira (VEN) and Metropolitanos F.C. (VEN) both trail close behind with 12 and 11 points, but their defensive issues (-2 and -7 GD) keep them from climbing higher.
At the lower end:
-
Defensa y Justicia (ARG), Zamora F.C. (VEN), and Aledals IK (SWE) all sit between 10 and 9 points, stuck in the lower mid-table after inconsistent runs.
-
Centro Atlético Fénix (URU) also have 9 points but a painful -15 GD, showing their defensive weakness.
-
AIK Fotboll (SWE) (8 pts) and R.S.C. Anderlecht (BE) (8 pts) continue to struggle. Anderlecht have conceded 25 goals already.
At the very bottom, Arameisk-Syrianska IF (SWE) remain last with just 2 points and a brutal -17 GD, still searching for their first win after nine rounds.
