After four rounds, the early picture in League 2 Group A is beginning to take shape, with tight battles forming at both ends of the table and very little separating promotion contenders from playoff hopefuls.
🔝 Promotion & Playoff Picture
🥇 Ajax (NEATH) remain top of the table after Round 4 and currently sit in the automatic promotion spot to the World Premier League. A strong start has given them a slight edge, but the margin is slim and pressure is already mounting.
🥈–🥉 Pachuca (MEX) and Bahia (BRA) stay firmly in the chase, both well-positioned in the playoff places (2nd–9th). They are closely followed by Olympiakos (GRE) and Atlético Indio (HON), keeping the top half extremely competitive.
Just inside the playoff zone, AC Milan (ITA), Cartaginés (CRC), Fortaleza (BRA), and Omonde (ECU) round out the current top nine. With over 40 rounds remaining, even one strong or poor week could cause major movement.
⚔️ Midtable Battles
🟨 Caracas FC (VEN) sit in 10th place, which currently qualifies them for the Friendly Cup. They are only a point off the playoff line and remain very much in contention to climb higher.
🟦 Tout Puissant Mazembe occupy 11th place, which would send them to the King’s Cup if the season ended now. However, the gap above them is minimal, making this one of the most volatile spots in the table.
