League II 2026 Group B Round 15 Recap

🏆 League 2 – Group B

2026 Season | Round 15 Recap

After 15 of 46 rounds, the promotion race and playoff battle in League 2 Group B are heating up nicely, with clear separation starting to form across the table.

🔝 Promotion Race

Inter (ITA) continue to set the pace at the top of the table. With 32 points, they currently occupy 1st place, which would earn automatic promotion to the World Premier League if the season ended today. Their strong goal difference and consistent form make them the team to catch.

🎯 Playoff Contenders (2nd–9th)

The fight for the playoff spots is extremely tight:

  • 2nd – FC Schalke 04 (GER)

  • 3rd – Atalanta BC (ITA)

  • 4th – Hannover 96 (GER)

  • 5th – Vasco Da Gama (BRA)

  • 6th – AC Fiorentina (ITA)

  • 7th – Arminia (GER)

  • 8th – Atlético Mineiro (BRA)

  • 9th – Busan I’Park (CSK)

All eight sides are separated by small point margins, meaning every win or slip-up could dramatically reshape the playoff picture as the season progresses.

🟡 Cup Qualification Zone

  • 10th – FC KA (BRA) currently sit in the Friendly Cup qualification spot.

  • 11th – Real Betis (SPA) occupy the King’s Cup qualification place, just outside the playoff zone.

Both clubs remain within striking distance of the top nine, keeping their postseason ambitions alive.

🔻 Relegation Battle

At the bottom, pressure is mounting:

  • 23rd – Blackbur(UK)

  • 24th – Cagliari Calcio (ITA)

These two teams are currently in the relegation places and would drop to League III if the season ended now. With over two-thirds of the season still to play, there’s time to recover—but the margin for error is shrinking fast.

📊 Season Outlook

With 31 rounds still remaining, nothing is decided yet. The promotion race is competitive, the playoff battle is crowded, and the relegation fight is wide open. Every point from here on out will matter.

League 2 Group B is officially in full drama mode.
