League 2 – Group D
2026 Season – Round 30 Recap (of 46)
Round 30 has tightened the race at the top of Group D, with several clubs still fighting for the automatic promotion spot and the valuable playoff positions (2nd–9th). With 16 rounds remaining, the table remains extremely competitive.
🔝 Title & Promotion Race
Club Destroyers remain in 1st place with 60 points, holding the automatic promotion spot to the World Premier League. Despite a recent loss in their last five matches, their strong attacking record (75 goals scored) keeps them narrowly ahead.
Right behind them is Aston Villa, sitting 2nd with 58 points. They are level on points with Always Ready, but ahead on goal difference. Both clubs are putting heavy pressure on the leaders and are in excellent form, with Always Ready especially impressive after winning most of their recent matches.
Banfield stays firmly in the hunt in 4th place with 57 points, just three points from the top. Their recent mixed form has slowed them slightly but they remain a serious promotion contender.
Corinthians complete the top five with 56 points, still within striking distance of first place if the leaders slip.

The relegation fight is becoming clearer as the bottom clubs continue to struggle:
-
22nd – Rio Ave (29 pts)
-
23rd – KRC Genk (18 pts)
