After 28 rounds of the 46-match season, the race in League 2 Group C is extremely competitive. The fight for the lone automatic promotion spot is tight at the top, while the playoff race remains packed with contenders.
🥇 Promotion Race
Limón F.C. have climbed to the top of the table with 58 points, taking control of the automatic promotion spot to the World Premier League. Their recent form has been excellent, winning their last four matches in a row, giving them momentum at the perfect time.
Just behind them are Real Salt Lake and Cruzeiro, both sitting on 58 and 56 points respectively. Real Salt Lake remain level with Limón on points but trail on goal difference, while Cruzeiro stay within striking distance just two points back.
Vélez Sarsfield occupy 4th place with 55 points, meaning the top four teams are separated by only three points, keeping the promotion race completely open.
