Premier World League Group C Round 19th Results

Premier World League – Group C Round 19 Recap: Reds and Bolivar Neck-and-Neck, Survival Battle Intensifies

Round 19 in Group C delivered another set of high-stakes matches that reshaped both the title race and the relegation fight.

Title Race – Two Giants in Lockstep

Urawa Reds (JAP) remain at the summit on 54 points, but only by goal difference over Bolívar (BOL), who matched their win this round to keep the pressure on. Both teams have an impressive 18 wins from 19 games, and their near-perfect records mean the title race could be decided by a single slip.

FC Tokyo (JAP) sit 3rd, just one point off the top after another win, making this a thrilling three-way battle for first.

Newell’s (ARG) in 4th and Cerezo Osaka (JAP) in 5th are holding steady, but with a small gap to the leaders, their title hopes are fading without a dramatic collapse from the top three.

Top Half Climbers and Sliders

  • Newcastle United (UK) rose two places to 8th after an important win.

  • Unión Española (CHI) also gained two spots to 11th thanks to a solid run of form.

  • Atletico Madrid (SPA) and Sevilla (SPA) continue to hover around mid-table but have shown flashes of strong play.

On the flip side, Hamburger SV (GER) and Manchester City (UK) both slipped one position, each losing crucial points in tight matches.

Relegation Scrap – Alarm Bells Ringing

The bottom three are unchanged, but the gap to safety is growing:

  • Rosario (ARG) remain 31st, just above the drop zone but looking shaky.

  • America (MEX) stay rooted to last with a nine-game losing streak and the joint-worst goal difference (-30).

  • Zenit Saint Petersburg (RUS) are 30th and struggling to find consistency.

Babuna (MCD) and Necaxa (MEX) are also in danger, hovering just above the relegation zone with poor recent form.

Form Watch

  • Longest winning run: Urawa Reds, Bolivar, and FC Tokyo – all on 5 straight victories.

  • Worst run: America have lost 9 in a row.

  • Home fortress: Bolivar have won all 9 home games this season.

Group C’s title race is a nail-biter with three contenders separated by just a point, while the relegation battle remains a war of attrition at the other end. Round 20 could be pivotal for both ends of the table.
