Round 12 Highlights
Sport Boys continue their remarkable run. Already sitting in first place entering the round, they showed why they are league leaders with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Bolognesi. Their attack continues to be the most dangerous in Group A.
Universitario make a statement. A commanding 4-1 road victory over Universidad de Chile strengthens their credentials as genuine title contenders and keeps them firmly among the league's elite.
Sporting Cristal earn a huge scalp. Beating Chelsea 2-1 gives Cristal another signature victory and reinforces their position inside the playoff places.
Vancouver Whitecaps upset Manchester United. The Canadian club edged United 3-2 in one of the most entertaining matches of the round, collecting three valuable points against a top-tier opponent.
Aucas produce the surprise of the day. Winning 3-1 away at São Paulo is one of the biggest upsets of Round 12 and could prove to be a turning point in their season.
Playoff Race (Positions 1–16)
