馃敭 Leg 2 Preview – December 7, 2025
Group C – FC Tokyo vs. LA Galaxy
FC Tokyo return home needing at least a one-goal win to equalize the aggregate and push for advancement. Their two away goals give them an advantage on tie-breaking scenarios, so scoring first will be a major objective.
LA Galaxy, holding a one-goal lead, will aim for stability in defense and look for an away goal that could tilt the aggregate firmly in their favor. Expect tight marking, fast transitions, and a tense tactical battle as both teams chase a spot in the next round.
Group D – Cusco FC vs. Atl茅tico Cicl贸n
Cusco FC’s three away goals give them a real opportunity to overturn the 5–3 deficit. A two-goal victory at home could be enough depending on aggregate outcomes, so Cusco will likely start aggressively, pushing for early momentum.
Atl茅tico Cicl贸n, despite being the lower seed, enter with a valuable two-goal cushion and will look to exploit the counterattack once again. One away goal from them would make Cusco’s challenge significantly harder, potentially forcing them to chase four or more goals.
This second leg is set up for fireworks, with both teams capable of high-scoring performances.
